    “Good to see”

The rooms were nice, had a weird smell in the bathroom though. Our tour included transfers, activities, plus one glass of wine, 2 lunches, 1 dinner. The drive to Halong Bay from Hanoi was about 3.5 hours with a half hour stop over to use restrooms and buy drink/snacks.

When we arrived we all freshened up then had a quick lunch before heading off to Sung Sot cave. The cave was really beautiful but I felt like we had no time to look at it as the guide was just rushing through it.

After the caves we went to Ti Top island (beach) to swim but people from other tours went too so it was a bit crowded (Soi Sim island was closed for renovation) - we didn't end up swimming, just sat there and enjoyed an ice cream until it was time to leave (about an hour).

When we returned to the ship, we had 15 minutes to get ready for a cooking class which was basically how to put together a rice paper roll/fresh spring roll. After that we received a glass of wine then awaited dinner.

The next morning we had breakfast at 7 which consisted of bananas, jam, butter and flow of toast. Then everyone got ready to check out the oyster farm, after that we had lunch then headed back to the pier, awaiting our mini van back to Hanoi. We waited about an hour for it to arrive.

Overall I think the tour was okay, Halong Bay itself is amazing but there is just way too many tourists around, plus a tight schedule to complete all activities. Everything felt a bit rushed so we didn't feel relaxed the whole time. I was about to stay in Halong Bay one more night to be satisfied with that!
