VIETNAM EVISA: This MUST be applied prior to your travelling date. This letter can be obtained via 3 main ways:

+ Contact the nearest Vietnamese Embassy in your place

+ Apply online via our governmental immigration department official website and follow instructions (https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/en_US/web/guest/trang-chu-ttdt)

+ Use our service (Highly recommend): We can assist you to arrange an E-Visa to enter Vietnam all you need to do is to send over your details. The fee is AUD 80/person for single entry for 30 days including the stamp fee in which you do not need to pay any extra fee at the airport.

Day 1: Ha Noi Arrival - Transfer To Hotel In Ha Noi (N/A)

Upon arrival in Noi Bai International Aiport (HAN) you will be picked up by our driver with a private car and dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi center. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure.

Hanoi Old quarter- Home to a mix of Vietnamese architecture, green spaces, ancient shops and fresh-as-it-gets street food — all of it easily explored on foot. At first look, these 36 streets can feel frenetic. Don't worry: Constant motion is part of the Old Quarter's charm. You'll notice bicycle vendors selling fresh flowers and ripe fruit, old friends gathering for games of checkers, and cooks doing a roaring trade in steaming phở and bún chả. Walking around you can visit Vietnam’s electric capital offers layers of Chinese and French influence, gaggles of scooters and a wealth of world-class restaurants.

07.45 – 08.30: You will be picked up from your hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter. Then we will head to Ha Long Bay. You may enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta along the way

11.30: Upon arriving in our lobby in Tuan Chau Marina, you may take a short stretch while our staff arranges all registration with the local government.

12.00 – 12.30: The cruise captain and staff will welcome you onboard LE JOURNEY CRUISE after a short tender transfer. While enjoying a refreshing welcome drink, a short cruise briefing and safety instructions will be given.

12.30 – 13.00: LE JOURNEY CRUISE voyages to Ha Long Bay – one of the New Seven Nature Wonders of the World. Lunch is served on board while the cruise passes via amazing limestone karst formations that rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner.

14.00 – 14.30: You will leave the cruise to explore Sung Sot Cave (also known as Surprise/ Amazing Cave), one of the biggest and most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay.

15.00: Returning to LE JOURNEY CRUISE, the trip will continue to Ti Top Island. Here, you can watch the magnificent view over either the Gulf of Tonkin or swim in the emerald green and cool water.

17.00: After a long day, this is the ideal time to enjoy energizing drinks and snacks by joining ‘Happy Hour’ or Cooking Class on the sundeck

19.30: Sumptuous Dinner is served. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff.

20.30: After dinner, various activities including karaoke, and squid fishing are organized. Or you can just laze around with exhilarating drinks from our bar. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure.

07.45-08.15 am: Pick up from hotel in Hanoi then transfer to Halong Bay by Limosine via high way

06.15 – 07.00: Breakfast is served. It can be a great idea to enjoy the meal with the magnificent view of the sunrise in Ha Long Bay.

8.00 -9.30: The cruise gets closer to the center of the Natural Preservation Area. Join our guide on a short trip to Luon Cave. This magic work of nature shows you the formation of karst mountains. You can discover this time masterpiece by kayaking on your own. If you are lucky, you can catch great photos with mischievous monkeys jigging up and down around the cliffs.

9.30: LE JOURNEY Cruise welcomes you back on board and it is time for checking out.

10.00: Whilst cruising back, delightful lunch will be served.

11.35: We return to the quayside in the south of the bay, where our visitors disembark in Tuan Chau Marina. And leave for Ha Noi on our shuttle.

15.30 – 16.00: You will get back to your hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter

Lan Ha Bay – Ha Noi – Recheck in hotel (Meal: B, L)

7.00am: Have breakfast. Morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.

8.15am: Visit the famous Frog Pond area, this is the filming location of the famous movie Kong Skull Island (King Kong) in Quang Ninh 2018. Here you can freely kayak to explore the landscape, or immerse yourself in the cool, clear blue water.

09.00am: Back to your cabin, take relax and check carefully all the luggage before leaving your cabin.

9.30am: Check-out from the private cabin and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay for room service. Complete check-out procedures

10.15am: Enjoy lunch at the restaurant while the cruise is returning to the harbor.

11.30am: You take the high-speed canoe back to Tuan Chau port. Return to Hanoi by the luxury limousine.

15.30pm: Arrive in Hanoi

Because of cruising conditions, the program may be changed slightly due to specific weather or tide conditions without prior notice to visitors. Wi-Fi is available although internet connectivity is limited due to the geography of Ha Long.

17:45-18:00: our tour guide will welcome you at your hotel lobby, then start walking tour in old quarter "36 streets" to visit some famous and specialized- food families or stalls/ local restaurants, shops where they run their business every day, certainly you will watch and taste some particular dishes (We can customize vegetarian food or special requirement)

The old quarter in Hanoi is over one thousand years old and today retains much of the old flavor that made the area special in earlier times, each street was the exclusive domain of one trade (guilds) so there are whole streets of blacksmiths, silver shops, paper shops, headstone makers and more. Originally there were just 36 streets in the old quarter but today there are more than 50 streets. Although many of the streets are short, and the area is rather compact. It is very difficult to find some local food on your own in hidden alleys or sidewalks; certainly the best way to make it easy is joining, taking part in this special tour to learn about Vietnamese cuisine, culture, people and language.

At 21.00, our tour guide say goodbye to you, and will help you order taxi or show you direction back your hotel

Night 3: Overnight in Hanoi

Day 4: Half Day Hanoi Food, Culture & Fun On Vintage Jeep Car (B/L)

07:20-07.30: You will be greeted by our guide and driver at your hotel lobby or our meeting point for safety briefing, we then begin our adventure!

On the first part of the trip, we expose you the REAL HANOI with a day in the life experiences, featured with the parts-unknown of the city with slices of life in the maze of backstreets, tiny alleyways, local homes, schools, random markets and black market, experiencing where & how locals live, work and play. Other travel companies show just you the beautiful and tell you to run away from the bad and the weird of your destinations. On this journey, not only do we show you the good, but we also expose the bad and the weird of your destinations as it is what it is. For us, the run-off-the mill tourist sites are only the tip of the iceberg, the majority of your destinations remains hidden in the parts-unknown.

On the second part of the trip, we pass by & stop at the MUST-SEEN places of our beautiful city such as Ho Chi Minh mausoleum-the Mecca of Vietnamese, The 1000-year-old Buddhist and Toasist temples of Tran Quoc, temple of Literature, the historical training track, the enchanting French Quarter, The hustling & bustling Old Quarter, the romantic lakes of Hoan Kiem, West Lake, Hanoi Opera House & famous Long Bien bridge etc. On the third part of the trip, we also take you to the peaceful & allure out-skirt villages around West Lake and Truc Bach lake to enrich your experiences about the contrast in harmony of life between the city center and her out-skirt.

Last but not least, enroute, you will stop at different AUTHENTIC restaurants, eateries and food stalls to savor the tastiest of the tasty dishes of Hanoi including family heirloom & secret recipe dishes, local delicacies and specialties.

You will be back to your hotel around 12.00. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure.

Night 4: Overnight in hotel in Ha Noi

Day 5: Hoa Lu - Tam Coc Day Trip (B/L)

7:00-07.30: Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We take you to Ninh Binh province which is about 120 kms away from Ha Noi.

9:30: Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax

10:30: The first destination in this trip is visit Hoa Lu ancient capital, the first capital of Vietnam. Come to visit Hoa Lu, you will know the reasons why the capital was moved to Hanoi nowadays. You will be exremely impressed by an outstanding architecture when entering temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17 century. Try to feel ancient atmospheres in Hoa Lu ancient capital.

11:45: Have buffet lunch in the restaurant with a variety of local foods like goat meat, fried rice…Vegetarian food is always available in the buffet lunch.

13:00: Visit Tam Coc by 1,5-hour bamboo boat. During the boat trip, you will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy field, river, water, cloud, sky and stuning cave system. All make a masterpiece which Vietnamese people called “Halong Bay on land’’.

14:30: Continue the tour with 45 minutes for cycling around the village to discover the life of local people.

15:30 – 16:00: Come back to our shuttle bus to return to Hanoi

18:30: End your memorable day with Hoa Lu - Tam Coc Day Trip in Ninh Binh. Get dropped off at Hotel in Hanoi.

Night 5: Overnight in hotel in Ha Noi

Day 6: Hanoi Departure -Airport Drop Off - Trip Ends (B)

My English speaking tour guide for this 2 day cruise was truly amazing. His name was Tim Tam. Not only could he hold a two way conversation with you & understand all your questions & jokes, he went out of his way to make sure you were happy.
