10 Days/09 Nights In Cambodia

8.00 am: Our guide picks you up from the hotel Visit the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the notorious 'Killing Fields' of Choeung Ek, which will give us a deep insight into the painful bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge. Lunch at a local restaurant. We will have time this afternoon to explore PsarToul Tom Pong, also called the “Russian Market", where anything and everything is for sales.

Pick up from Hotel and transfer to the Bus station for Bus to Battambong (around 5 hour). Upon arrival Battambong our driver picked up and transferred you to check in the hotel.

After breakfast, we start our tour by visiting bamboo train village with a great unique experiences of sliding on this funny train. Then we continue to visit the first grape farm in the country and taste the local grape wine & whisky. After lunch, we continue to visit Phnom Sampeou Mountain, steeped in legend, and topped by Wat Sampeou and a group of caves used as ‘killing caves’ by the Khmer Rouge, containing the skeletal remains of their victims. We will also visit natural caves including spectacular. Ask about the legend of Neang Rumsay Sok. We spend there till late afternoon to see the unbelievable millions of bats flying out of the cave.

Overnight in Battambang.

Breakfast at the hotel - The sightseeing tour of Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with Colums, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.

Breakfast at the hotel – Morning: transfer to Phnom Kulen (holy mountain) and join the pilgrim path to drive up this secret mountain of the Khmers. Swimming in the waterfall, and visit 1000 Linga then we carry on to the summit of the mountain to a pagoda. Picnic lunch is arranged on the top of mountain. In the afternoon, return to Siem Reap, The same afternoon, we will to visit the Angkor National Museum known as the grand entrance to a world-class heritage that reveals the glory of Angkor Civilization. This museum enhances the cultural heritage of the Golden Era of Khmer Kingdom through an amassed collection of invaluable artifacts and through state of the art multimedia technology exhibition for a full picturesque legendary story.

Breakfast at the hotel – Morning: drive to Choueng Kneas village, where you will take the boat to visit the way of life of Cambodian poor people along with schools, restaurants, hospitals and much more floating on the great lake of Tonle Sap. take a walk along the road in front of the King’s Residence to see the Main Shrine, where the local people usually worship, with its statue of YeayTeap, Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chorm. Buying jasmine and lotus flowers to worship is very important for the Cambodians. We continue to one of the city’s lively open markets, Psar Chars, also called the “Old Market”, surrounded by elegant French Colonial colonnades!. And Visit to "Les Artisans d'Angkor - Chantiers Ecoles" of Siem Reap.
