What an amazing and well organised tour. All included experiences were amazing with knowledgeable and entertaining tour guides.Nothing was too much trouble for Halong Tours. I booked directly from Australia on the recommendation of a friend. Communication was frequent, itineraries were detailed, up-grade options were clear (I would recommend these for a smaller group experience.) Sunny and Bella were wonderful to deal with and ensured our trip went smoothly. Airport, day trip and hotel transfers were problem free. My food allergies were taken very seriously, all day trip and hotel staff were aware, and my food options were clearly pointed out. Alternative foods were also offered.The hotel accommodation in all places was great, the trip inclusions and optional inclusions were terrific and offered a variety of experiences. We had an amazing holiday and definitely recommend Halong tours.I look forward to booking with them again for travel in Cambodia, Laos and again in Vietnam.Less

From our initial contact via email prior to arriving in Vietnam, we found Halong Tours Booking company efficient, thorough and helpful with all our travel options. Upon arrival, we had a meet and greet with their representative who went through our itinerary and what time we should be ready for pick up. Every transfer and pick up for tours were on time and we were never left wondering what was happening. Accommodation was always central,quaint and had everything one needed albeit we just booked standard hotels. Our tour guides were courteous and helpful and went out of their way to make our experiences enjoyable. Communication was not always as clear and informative as we would have liked initially, but after awhile, we just sat back and let the Vietnam experience wash over us without having to know every single historical event. In conclusion, I would recommend everyone to visit Vietnam. It has a lot to offer and can be as cheap or as expensive as you choose to make it. See you another time!Less

We booked this tour through James at Halong Tours Booking, from first contact to when we departed Vietnam James could not have been better. The trip on the Apricot Cruise was totally amazing everything from the standard of the vessel the suite room and the attentive / helpful staff. Bella was our consultant and she was very good communicating with us and arranging our time in Vietnam which consisted of us spending time in Hanoi, Sa Pa, Halong. We booked a week tour of Vietnam with Halong Tours, and enjoyed every minute. We had a great schedule seeing a lot of what each country had to offer while at the same time leaving something to see on the return visit. Tracey was a great helping sorting the trip before we left and while we were there. We upgraded a few hotels and the cruise which was the right choice. Would defiantly recommend!Less

A HUGE thank you to Tracy for her excellent skills, hard work and attention to detail in organising a seamless trip. Initial queries by email were answered promptly, last-minute upgrades were accommodated and special requests (eg,letter of approval for second entry to Vietnam from Cambodia) were met. Everything ran without a hitch on our two-week tour, from driver pickups, internal flights/coach journeys, trips and hotels. The itinerary covered almost everything we wanted to see/do in each country, and suggested add-ons allowed us personal choice; we were able to book added experiences at each destination so there was no ‘overload’ if we decided we needed a rest from activities. Hotels chosen by the company were all good. We decided to stick with 3-star due to short length of time spent in each. Would say a couple of the hotels even deserved more than their 3-star rating.Tracy visited us at our first hotel in Hanoi to go over our itinerary and take payment for upgrades we had made via email beforehand. At this point she also gave us her card to make contact should we have any problems or additional requests. This was reassuring on our first trip to such far flung destinations where we didn’t speak the languages, but was not needed as all the guides spoke excellent/good English, helped with add-ons, and thankfully we had no other problems. Just to say here, we also found the Vietnamese and Cambodian people generally very nice, friendly and helpful.What a fabulous holiday at an unbelievable price! Great job Halong Tours Booking! After reading several reviews about this company I decided to go ahead and purchase 6 Groupon Vouchers for this tour for our family.I was contacted almost immediately by Tracy who organised everything for us.She offered many variations to the deal listed and helped us plan an itinerary that suited us. Everything was perfect!Tracy helped us organise the required visas and there was no restrictions on dates so we could organise our own flights and arrive when it suited us. She also offered to quote flights for us but as we were planning to visit Singapore as well it was more convenient for us to do this ourselves.I was extremely happy with all our accommodation, we chose the 3* option as we really only needed a place to sleep and all the places were lovely with generous breakfast inclusions.We were met on time for every airport transfer and tour by friendly guides that made us feel very welcome.The tours were all mostly small groups and sometimes just our family so we felt we had an individual experience.I am not usually a fan of pre organised tours but this never felt like that as each tour is outsourced locally.The highlight would have to be the Lan Ha bay cruise.... such a magical place!! The food and accommodation on this cruise was amazing and the staff were extremely polite and helpful.I would not hesitate to use this company again, the service and value is five star!!Less

I booked the initial vouchers via groupon and was initially concerned that this would mean a cheap service, how wrong was I, ms Tracy was fantastic and answered all of my queries with enthusiasm, she made all the changes to the itinerary as requested and advised when needed. We are now on out last day and I can only say that it has truly been a fantastic holiday more so due to the careful planning by the tour company. We did north, central and south Vietnam and we plan to come back next year so will ask the tour company to organise.
