This tour is designed for those of you searching & studying for Vietnamese local foods culture. We will enjoy some of local authentic street foods in Nhatrang city that should not be missed when travelling. Tour starts in the afternoon from 5.00 pm till 9.00 pm, around 4 hours by riding cyclos, visiting the local venders & enjoying street foods & specialities. Enjoying some main street foods are:

“Can” cake - Banh can: Sitting around the warm fire of coal brazier, watching the cook skillfully pouring flour into moulds , and then enjoying hot “banh can” in a windy day is an unforgettable experience for anyone when in NhaTrang.

Bun cha ca - Rice vermicelli with grilled fish: It’s “bun cha ca” broth, which is made from boiled sailfish and mackerel’s bones, that determines the exclusive taste of this specialty. Different from the fatty boiled pork bones’ broth; “bun cha ca” broth is sweet and savory, especially suitable for people who are going on a diet. A bowl of Nha Trang’s “bun cha ca” also contained jellyfish and steamed sailfish.

Nem Nuong- Grilled fermented pork roll: Enjoying “nem Ninh Hoa”, you will feel the aroma of meat, sweet sour, crispy, and spicy blended together, it is very interesting!. In particular, nem nuong (grilled nem) is served with green papaya salad that brings a new flavor. Banh tai vac (Tapioca Shrimp Dumplinds)

Finish up with Che Chuoi nuong (Banana & sticky rice palding)

Night 2: Overnight in Nha Trang

This day you have several options to explore in depth:

Option 1: THE SALT FIELD TOUR NINH HOA DISTRICT (HON KHOI COMMUNE)

At 4.30 am, with breakfast box from your hotel, you will meet guide and driver at hotel and being transferred to Ninh Hoa district, Hon Khoi Commune, around 40 km away from Nhatrang city for visiting salt fields. Unlike most salt fields in Vietnam, the strenuous task of tending to Hon Khoi salt fields is carried out by middle-aged women, which takes place between 04:00 and 09:00. To protect themselves from the heat and salt, these salt workers wear conical hats, rubber gloves and boots, as well as facemasks. While conditions are harsh during these months, they are very approachable and friendly even though they can only speak in their native language. Hon Khoi salt fields are also popular spots for photography, where you can capture great views of the salt mountains and workers carrying heavy baskets across the fields well as a pagoda that sits atop a nearby hill. After that, you continue to visit the fish farms in both sides of the road in this commune area. Then we have lunch at local restaurant on the site or on the way back to Nhatrang city. Tour finishes around 12.30-13.00 PM.

Option 2: YANGBAY WATERFALL TOUR

Apart from the beautiful beach and ocean, this tour will bring you to the real nature. Start from your hotel at 9.00 am and travel by car/van to Yangbay Waterfall on the south road. Visit Long Son Pagoda & Dien Khanh Citadel on the way. As come to Yangbay Waterfall, you can see some activities of farmers, ethnic minority people and crocodile farms, join yourself with nature, water, bird singing at the waterfall. After relaxing for a while, back to the 300 years- old country house, namely “Memento Country Home” for packaged lunch box or having lunch there while experiencing the real country atmosphere with some special activities on the site. On the way back to the hotel, see the local making handicrafts, village markets & kindergartens. Tour ends around 4.00 pm. A real return to the nature!

Option 3: ISLANDS AND SNORKELING TOUR

Start from your hotel to Vinh Truong port in the morning. The Oceanographic Institute nearby the Nhatrang Port is the first place to visit where you can sea the full collection of sea creatures of Nhatrang bay before embarking & cruising to the islands. Many sea species of Nha Trang/Khanh Hoa province make a small ocean world there. Mun Island is the best island for snorkeling where you can see lots of lives colorful corals and fish. You will also be able to see caves in which the sea swallows make their nests from the boat. Then relaxing, swimming & doing water sports or other activities at Mot Island, Tranh Beach Island or on a small island calling “Mini beach”. Taking a fresh lunch at the island or Con se tre village. On the way back you will visit a fishing village before going to the shore.

Breakfast is served at your hotel. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure.
