Ambassador Cruise I-Halong Bay 2 days

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay (L,D)

8:00 - 8:30 Pick up at hotel lobby

10:00 – 12:00: Check in at Ambassador’s Lounge (1^st Floor, Terminal – Halong International Cruise Port, Bai Chay Ward, Halong City).

12:00 – 12:30: Passengers are transferred to Ambassador Cruise and a short welcoming briefing will be held at the Piano Lounge or at the restaurant, whilst you are sipping our special welcome drink.

12:45 – 14:00: Savor a buffet lunch whilst enjoying the majestic views of the World Natural Wonder, Halong Bay limestone islets.

14:30 – 15:30: Your first excursion is a visit to Luon Cave – one of the most unique caves in Halong Bay featuring the self-contained lake inside a closed arch-shaped mountain, where you can experience sitting on a bamboo boat rowed by a local or Kayaking*.

16:00 – 17:00: Visit Titov Island – a splendid destination encompassing a crescent moon-shaped beach, where you can immerse yourself in the turquoise water and climb to the top of the Island beholding the breathtaking 360o view of the bay.

15:45 – 16:30: For guests who are not participating in any excursions, we will serve home-made cakes at the Piano Lounge. Guests can also stay onboard and opt for an afternoon of pampering at Atelier de Beauté Spa* or immersing yourself in the outdoor Jacuzzi pool.

17:30 – 18:30: At sundown, Ambassador Cruise will anchor overnight.

This is the perfect time for you to enjoy cooking class or Happy Hour* and Canapes at the Piano Lounge or on the Sundeck (depends on weather conditions) and live music at the Piano Lounge before dinner and guaranteed to whet the appetite.

19:00: Savor a delicious dinner with Chef’s special menu at the restaurant.

7:30 – 8:20: Explore Sung Sot Cave – the largest and most magnificent cave in the bay featuring marvelous and mysterious thousand-year-old stalactites in a variety of unique forms.

8:30 – 9:30: Full breakfast is served at the restaurant.

9:30 – 9:45: Bill settlement and check-out at the reception at the first deck.

10:15 – 10:30: Disembark at the Halong International Cruise Port.

We had an amazing stay with President Cruises. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade and ended up staying in their Presidental Suite which was incredible! The service was spectacular, as everyone treated us like royalty. The food, designed by Michelin star chef, was very fine dining style and delicious, though it was not traditional Vietnamese cuisine if that is what you are looking for. The entire boat was super luxurious, with classic hardwood finishes and the large Jacuzzi pool was amazing. The pool was heated so it was nice to sit in after the sun went down and got a bit chilly. The suite was very spacious and well lit with floor to ceiling windows wrapping 180 degrees around the suite. The king size bed was super comfortable and roomy. The view from the bathtub was amazing. There was a living room with big couches for sprawling, had a huge mahogany desk and even a large wine cabinet. It also had a very large dining table and we were able to choose the option to have our own private dinner in our room. The private terrace had a daybed and outdoor dining table and chairs. The terrace was so huge we didn't know what to do with all the space. We chose this specific cruise because we wanted to do as much hiking activities around the islands as we could, and it also included kayaking where we got to see the mountain monkeys up close! We were late to catch the boat to some excursions, but they were so kind enough to give us a ride after they dropped off the group (which we knew were against the rules, but we really appreciated it!). We had high expectations for this cruise, and they far surpassed it. On the way back to the city, we stopped at a resort restaurant where we were served some amazing chicken and beef pho and some fruit while waiting for our transfer back to Hanoi, which was all included. Overall an amazing 5-star experience, and would highly recommend anyone thinking of taking this cruise. I would have loved to sign up for their 2 night cruise if we had known it was this great.Less

This cruise was beautiful! The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the balcony made it extra special. I especially enjoyed the food and the entertainment. The singers, Dominique and Karl, were amazing! Such beautiful and strong voices. We ended up listening and talking to them until the wee hours. Definitely recommend!

It looked like the best ship in the bay.The excursions were great - we really enjoyed the 3-cave walk which included informative commentary, the kayaking, and the hike up the beach Island steps. The scenery was incredible throughout - Halong Bay is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.The best thing about the trip was the food and service in the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented - fine dining style. The lunch and breakfast buffets were amazing - so much choice, and very high quality, and the evening meal was stunning.
