Cua Van floating village is exceptional as it is home to generations of fishing families and a lot of the residents never depart. It offers the opportunities to enjoy rowing boat by the local people around the village while watching how the locals live on their floating house.
Ho Ba Ham (Three Tunnel Lake)
Ba Ham Lake is a very beautiful place for kayaking in Ha Long Bay. The lake is about 20km from Tuan Chau Marina International Port. There are three lakes connecting three tunnels together with vertical cliff which offers beautiful scenery and enjoyable kayak. All the lakes has clear water and some is surrounded by limestone and variety of marine flora, fauna and abundant underwater creatures.

we were on Bhaya 4 the staff were brilliant food was amazing. when we boarded the head of dining came to ask everyone if they had anything they didnt like or couldnt eat as my husband doesnt like fish they catered for him amazingly always giving him the option of meat or a vegetable alternative and for the size of the boat i thought that was first class service. i had a massage while on board ..More -

Unfortuntely the weather was poor but we still had a great time onboard and managed to fit in most of the advertised activities due to the determination of the crew that we had a great time. Went with Bhaya Classic. Excellent cabin with balconies but stunning views were on deck. Good food looked after by Son and Nam who also gave us cooking class and Tai Chi demonstration. Visit to cave on way back to Hanoi -

The cruise left in the late morning from the dock and we spent three days exploring in and around the beautiful Halong Bay. There are a bit too many ship/excursion companies but it is beautiful with the Karst stone structures that jut out of the water at various levels, shapes and sizes. Not usually a cruise family we were pleased we took this one on Ha Long Bay. Absolutely amazing !!! We were on the Gulf of Tonkin where the crew we outstanding who couldn’t stop pampering us. The food was gourmet , top class, the service could not be faulted, the shore excursions just right , the cabins definitively 4 star. Highly recommend this tour.
