Day 1: Hanoi - Airport Pick Up - Check In Hotel In Hanoi (N/A)

Pick up the airport and then transfer you to the hotel in Hanoi Centre – the most exciting place for tourist. After that you are free to visit Hanoi City by yourself. Note: Check in time is 14:00 P.M.

Night 1: Overnight in hotel in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)

7:45-8:15am: Our guide will meet you at your hotel. The shuttle bus or private car pick up. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta.

12:00 – 12:30 Arriving Tuan Chau Marina.Welcome aboard the cruise. Meet the captain, crew and join us for welcome drink as we tell you about life onboard.

12:30: Check in your cabin.Time to refresh.

13:00: Served a delectable lunch while cruising ahead to Ha Long Bay

14:00: Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Ha long Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes in Ha Long Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.

15:30 visit the Titop Island – swimming Climbing up to the Top of the Island – take the best view of Halong Bay Continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoy beautiful seascape on the way.

18:00: Come back cruise and relax

19:00 Dinner is served.

20:00 Socialize with other guests or just laze around

Night 2: Overnight on boat

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Check In Hotel In Hanoi (B/L)

6:30 – 6:45 Do Tai Chi or a photo hunt

7:00 Have breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone.

8:00 Kayaking to explore around the area or visit a floating house and learn about the daily life of the local fishermen who live there.

9:00We board the cruise again .Take time to refresh and relax before checking out. Bags can be left in luggage store.

10:00 Join in the Cooking Class, teaching you how to make our specifically (Spring rolls) before an early lunch is served.

11: 30 – 12:00 Disembark at the harbor, Tuan Chau Marina.

Day 4: Hanoi- Bus To Sapa- Cat Cat Village Treking (B/L/D)

06:30 – 7.00: Pick up from the hotel, get on a bus and depart for Sapa

13.00: Arrive Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H'mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.

The tour guide will be waiting for you at Bus station. Then, please follow the guide to go to hotel. Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, check-in procedures

14.30: A short trek to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H'mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.

Trekking distance is about 4-5 kms/Duration: ~2hours

17.00: Come back to Sapa Town.

Day 5: Sapa- Bus Back Hanoi (B)

Have breakfast at hotel and stay free until the afternoon.

After breakfast at your hotel and you are free till airport transfer. Today, you will have a flight to Ho Chi Minh city and stay overnight at the most touristic area of Ho Chi Minh City.

Night 6: Overnight in hotel in Ho Chi Minh

Day 7: Cu Chi Tunnel (B)

07:30 – 08:00: Pick up at your hotel and depart to Cu Chi will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving.

Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. Return to hotel in Saigon.

Night 7: Overnight in hotel in HCMC

Day 8: Free And Easy (B) (B)

You will have whole day free and easy in Ho Chi Minh city. You can also choose to take one of our extra tours as below:

Optional tour: Mekong Delta tour

Visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19 th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation. Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop. In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Lunch will be served as well.

Optional tour: Cyclo tour and dinner on cruise:

Enjoy a 1 hour traditional puppetry art show - a very special moment for grownups and children alike. Take a ride on a cyclo for an adventure winding through the sights, sounds & smells of this historic metropolis - the ideal way to experience the city at night. Unforgettable 2 hour scenic cruise along the Saigon River in a traditional junk & Vietnamese / Western dinner.

Night 8: Overnight in Hotel in Ho chi minh

Day 9: HCMC - Bus Or Flight To Phnom Penh (Optional) (B) (B)

Transfer to Phnom Penh by bus (6 hours) or flight (2 hours) which is optional with an additional cost- payable directly to Halong Tours Booking.

Visa to enter Cambodia will be arranged on your own.

Arrive Phnom Penh, check in hotel then free and easy at your leisure.

Visit the TuolSleng Prison Museum and the notorious 'Killing Fields' of ChoeungEk, which will give us a deep insight into the painful bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge. Lunch at local restaurant. We will have time this afternoon to explore PsarToul Tom Pong, also called the “Russian Market", where anything and everything is for sales. Later this afternoon, we will take one hour boat cruise on the Mekong river.

Night 10: Overnight in Hotel in Phnom Penh

Day 11: Phnom Penh Bus To Siem Reap- Check In Hotel (B)

Today you will be transferred to Siem Reap By Bus (5 hours) to Siem Reap.

Arrive Siem Reap, pick up and check in hotel.

Night 11: Overnight in hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 12: Angkor Thom And Angkor Wat Tour (B/L)

After breakfast, proceed to Angkor Thom Area (Angkor Thom Temple South Gate, Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, Phimean Akas Temple, Elephants Terrace & Leper King Terrace, Royal Palace, Woman and Man Pond) Proceed to visit Ta-Prom Temple, After lunch, continue your journey to Angkor Wat Temple - one of the seven greatest architectural wonders of the world, built in between the 9th - 13th century, Before you end the tour, make a visit to Bakheng Hill.

Night 12: Overnight in hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 13: Airport Transfer- Siem Reap Departure (B)

We travelled to Vietnam and Cambodia on a holiday organised by Halong Tours Booking. We are ‘Senior Citizens’ with a zest for travel and usually organise our own holidays. We were slightly concerned as we don’t usually do trips as part of an organised tour but the vacation was extremely efficiently arranged and we had a brilliant time. The tours depart every day so numbers are small, often staying at different hotels, so in no way did we feel part of a ‘pack’. We met different people from different countries (in taxis, mini buses) for each leg of our trip. The places we visited (apart from one) were superb, each one a highlight in its own right. The hotels were excellent, though we did upgrade to 4*, with friendly and helpful staff at each locatation. The excursions were very interesting, every one led by excellent guides. overcrowded, hemmed in, huge, very smelly indoor market with the most disgusting toilets. Halong Bay was beautiful and the boat, cabin and food of a very high standard. However, we and many people younger than us (!) didn’t enjoy the karaoke. There was a general exodus when it started led by people in their 20’s. It did appear that every other boat was also subjected to karaoke so perhaps it is thought this is what visitors want! We also felt that more factual information on Halong Bay itself would have been appreciated. The guide, whilst good, only ensured we got from A - B safely, though he did a sterling job kicking off the karaoke! I must mention our superb liaison at Halong Tours, namely James. His efficiency is second to none, very friendly and extremely helpful, replying to emails within 24 hours. We will definitely be returning to Vietnam and would do so through Halong Tours Booking.Less

The day tours booked for us were all of a high quality.... ranging from bus tours to private tours with just the two of us, a driver and an English speaking guide. They all included lunch. The hotels were all fantastic and perfectly located. The airport transfers were all great, always on time, nice air conditioned cars, no issues.Everything was organised amazingly and with our added on days we had a perfect mix of free time and organised tours. I would recommend an extra day in Halong Bay if you have the time. (While we were in Halong Bay we decided we wanted to spend an extra night on the cruise and managed to get in contact with Halong Bay Tours. It was about 12 at night and they were super helpful and willing to help us organise the extra night so it was all stress-free. In the end the price would have been to high so we went back to Hanoi as originally planned, but it was just an example of how helpful they were).All in all I cannot recommend this tour enough. It's not for you if you want a bus-tour type trip, but if you don't know much about Vietnam and want a cheap trip where the main attractions are all planned for you I say go for it, and enjoy.Less

We travelled to Vietnam and Cambodia on a holiday organised by Halong Tours Booking. We are ‘Senior Citizens’ with a zest for travel and usually organise our own holidays. We were slightly concerned as we don’t usually do trips as part of an organised tour but the vacation was extremely efficiently arranged and we had a brilliant time. The tours depart every day so numbers are small, often staying at different hotels, so in no way did we feel part of a ‘pack’. We met different people from different countries (in taxis, mini buses) for each leg of our trip. The places we visited (apart from one) were superb, each one a highlight in its own right. The hotels were excellent, though we did upgrade to 4*, with friendly and helpful staff at each locatation. The excursions were very interesting, every one led by excellent guides. I have to say we didn’t enjoy the Russian Market (Phnom Penh) - overcrowded, hemmed in, huge, very smelly indoor market with the most disgusting toilets. Halong Bay was beautiful and the boat, cabin and food of a very high standard. However, we and many people younger than us (!) didn’t enjoy the karaoke. There was a general exodus when it started led by people in their 20’s. It did appear that every other boat was also subjected to karaoke so perhaps it is thought this is what visitors want! We also felt that more factual information on Halong Bay itself would have been appreciated. The guide, whilst good, only ensured we got from A - B safely, though he did a sterling job kicking off the karaoke! I must mention our superb liaison at Halong Tours, namely James. His efficiency is second to none, very friendly and extremely helpful, replying to emails within 24 hours. We will definitely be returning to Vietnam and would do so through Halong Tours Booking.Less
